The Buddy Programme
What is it?
Who is a buddy?
A buddy is a local Czech student who volunteers to be the first friend an international student meets in Olomouc. Going to a different country where you don't speak the language and don't know anyone can be overwhelming — your buddy is there to change that.
An ideal buddy will meet you on your arrival, help you find your way around, accompany you to translate if needed, and answer all your questions. But most importantly: your buddy will be your first friend in Czechia.
