The network

Erasmus Student Network

ESN is one of the largest student organisations in Europe, born on 16th October 1989 and built on a simple idea — students helping students. What started as a small initiative has grown into a continent-wide network dedicated to making international exchange accessible, enjoyable and meaningful for everyone.

Today ESN is present in over 1,000 universities across 40+ countries, with thousands of active volunteers organising events, running buddy programmes and supporting exchange students every single semester.

Our section

ESN UP Olomouc

Founded in February 2005, ESN UP Olomouc is the 4th section of ESN Czech Republic, based at Palacký University — one of the oldest universities in Central Europe with 8 faculties and hundreds of incoming exchange students every year.

We're a team of volunteers who genuinely love what we do. Our goal is simple — make sure every international student who comes to Olomouc feels welcome, supported and never alone.
